Jewel Trigger issues

Post by Rhysk »

Having a new issue with my Jewel trigger on a BAT MB action.
Everything was working sweet, was just doing some practice and working on form and technique using a dummy round to dry fire also.
was OK for 1 dry fire but once i went to recock it wouldn't cock. and keeps letting the firing pin fall
before i go to pulling everything apart and opening the trigger up has anyone had this before ? if so what was the issue ?

Haven't spoken to jewel since they are out of business now.
This rifle isn't new either.

I had the same problem about 3 years ago. Broken spring, could not find a replacement so I visited a local spring making business and had some made.Unfortunately, I have sold them all, and that business I used is no longer operating. Looks as if you will have to bight the bullet and buy a new trigger. but as yo said Jewell is no longer manufactuting.
Cheer,
Trevor.

Contact a good gunsmith he should be able to repair the trigger for you.
