depends on how you define better I guess.
Raw BC numbers (G7)
200 Hybrid .316
200.20x .328
200 jack (Litz verified) .357

Roughly 9% better, You could point the Bergers to close the raw BC gap

Their BC is higher than the Berger 200s so it is up to the person whether a higher BC is worth the price.

I know the BC is higher, but in real world figures is a BC .029 higher in the same FTR rifle going to be much of an advantage? You still have to drive it and hold elevation. Just thinking out loud here. What works works.

Its really up to you.
people point bullets for BC advantages up to say 6%
This BC advantage is higher than that.
I think you have to try to determine for yourself if they would actually improve YOUR scores.
For me yip ~9% (relative to others in its weight) is a worthwhile gain to be looked at. On paper in a 10MPH full value wind thats close to x ring improvement at 1000 - for me thats a worthwhile gain.

For some people like myself who don’t shoot very often but spend a lot of money on travel and hotels when we do, the few cents extra spent on good bullets is small by comparison IF the bullets work well.

All else being equal, using higher BC projectiles is one of the best ways of improving performance in the wind, much better than increasing velocity. My simulator calculates that a BC increase from .316 to .357 would add about 4 points and 4 supers over the course of an 8 range Queens shoot. That's assuming a muzzle velocity of around 2800fps, and light to moderate winds. I need to emphasise "all else being equal". At the end of the day, accuracy matters most, so if a longer projectile is less stable for example, then gains due to a higher BC may be cancelled out.

And the new 200 Sierra's have an extraordinary claimed BC, will be interesting to see if people can get them working too.
The options seem endless for FTR, I guess it will be the one who can put the complete package together.

Yeah I checked out the new sierras - landed they were more than Bergers. I went to the Jacks as at least for the extra money they are a true custom bullet, pointed with a Litz verified BC.

2800 FPS might be a stretch in a standard .308" spec FTR gun. Achievable, but they will work better at a slower speed so I'm told. Or, in a Mag open gun they might work.

Received my first lot of these a while ago. Did my usual measuring stuff and have decided not to bother sorting them at this point. I have another lot coming so I can check on the lot to lot consistency.
I haven't put any down range yet as I'm waiting on a barrel.
I don't think I'll be running them at 2800 ;) from what I have read and measured with respect to bearing surface and dia. Pressure won't be a issue for safe FTR loads - I'm going to try LRP with these and see how I go.
