I have always liked the way Howa rifles, at least the barrel and actions anyway, are built. I'd had a couple of Howa hunting rifles and tarted them up with Boyd's laminated stocks. They shot really well so when I decided to build a target rifle I went for a Howa barrelled action. The stock is a walnut one made by Cameron Hatcher in Victoria, an ex Army armourer, so I reckoned he's have a clue. Turns out he does.
Anyway this is the finished rifle topped with a 6.5-20x50 Vortex Viper, 20moa rail and Warne rings.
