If money wasn't an issue, what would be your ultimate FTR build?
Mine would start with a nice borden action, seb joypod and NF comp or my march 10-60
What else is needed?

Re: The ultimate FTR set up
Mine would be an all Australian built rig with a parallel barrel.
Oh wait, its already built courtesy of Peter Bevan.
LMB action
LMB stock
Maddco 1:10 parallel barrel
Nightforce comp scope
Rings from Lee Trengrove
Looking at the ADI outback ammo. (It comes ready with powder and projectile for fireforming for less than Lapua palmer empties and seems to perform just as well)
I'm happy to run with a Seb joypod and bigfoot bag.
Looking forward to giving it a test run in March

Do you have some info on the action?

+1 on the action info. Love the idea of using Australian that's why I have so many Omarks.

Re: The ultimate FTR set up
Peter Bevan, LMB Australia
TR shooter himself from Rockhampton
He's doing a few different actions, flat base and round. 4 lug, 21 deg bolt throw.
Most of those he's done are floating around QLD, Mike Samuels is using one to great effect in F/TR. The wookie has one as well. Most of the rest are with TR shooters.
The one I describe above is a shortened, lighter model that needs an ejector (no room for little fingers to go fishing for cases), such are the requirements for using a truck axle for F/TR! I think it's also the first bespoke rifle off the line. He put his own stock design on the "mill diet" to produce what I wanted. All I have to do is drop the glass on and fit the bipod. (Scope in pic for illustration purposes only )
Anyway, better speaking to the horses mouth.
