ATHLON RANGECRAFT VELOCITY PRO RADAR CHRONOGRAPH

Post by Blindbat »

Does anyone have any information about the Athlon Rangecraft Velocity Pro Chrono.
I understand it is relatively new to the market and is supposed to be a direct competitor to the Garmin Xero C1 Pro Chrono.
It appears to be a bit cheaper and it would be good if someone "in the know" could provide a direct comparison.

If you search Google/YouTube you should find some info, such as in the link below (I haven't see the Athlon in Aus yet though)

Have a look at the Accurate Shooter website as there is a discussion about that device…
Still, I would {and did} op for the Garmin…
They have been making electronic devices for a long time and their quality just leads the pack…
As in most things in life, “You Get What You Pay For”….
I love my Garmin that is the size of a Go Pro making it easy to carry and set up anywhere. Has never missed a shot {ask anyone that owns a Lab Radar…} , can be linked to a phone and the battery last and lasts… {again ask a Lab Radar owner about that…}

I love when people bag shit on the first Doppler Radar that was released to the market 9 years ago and campare it to the recently released Garmin, I mean if you are going to do a mines better than yours then why not compare it to the labradar LX, oh that's right it's because when you do that you find out the Garmin is lacking.

The Garmin is a great bit of kit but at least compare apples to apples and not to an old orange
