Hi, I know its a long shot but if you have moved on to a magnum and have some .284 brass around give me a call on, i'll even consider neck turned for .313 neck ie .310 .

Is there any real reason for 284 brass to be scarce. Are they still going to produce it?

Good question, but it could be demand is very low as it is probably only f class and some long-range benchrest shooters using it, the prcw family is taking over, the rebated rim of the .284 does not help its performance , but happy to hear other point of view.

To better serve our civilian and military obligations, some of our components will be temporarily suspended from production, including the .284 Winchester. This is due to prioritizing production lines. For our consumer customers, it means that some Lapua products will probably be out of stock in many places in the world for some time to come. This doesn’t mean that we are cancelling any products. It is our intention to resume production of these products as soon as market conditions stabilize. "
