Looking for load data 190 copperhead and 09

Post by BenW »

Looking for a good start point for a load for 190 copperhead with 2209. Have tried up to 46 of 2208 and they did not like 08 at all. 🤔
A. Using 09 for 208s and 200 jacks so have a bit at the moment. Ta

46gr of 08 sounds pretty warm, especially with some of the fast batches around. If you haven't already it might be worth starting at about 43 and working up to about 45.

I doubt you'll get enough 09 in the case to make it worth while with a 190. If your already using it with 208s then you know your going to need more powder in the same space.

Warm yes, primers slightly flat but still round on edges. I started on 43 went up in .4 increments to 46 but it doesn't like 08. Will try 06h. Reason is this is the newer barrel but not throated as long.
