With the quality of our FTR shooters on the east coast, I’m a bit surprised that more of us haven’t jumped on to shoot the APS event in Belmont. Especially given it’s all shot at 1000 yards and at the absolute bare minimum you get to shoot 5 x ranges at that distance.
Just out of curiosity, what’s stopping people from signing up?

My wife and I will be traveling overseas unfortunately.
However, I have tried to encourage as many people at I can to take part including offering equipment to assist.
It is a great event that provides the opportunity to learn/practice a skill set that is very valuable and not offered by other formats of competition.
