With the projectiles ect getting harder to get i think it should Not be limited .
If shooters want to limit themselves to 155s then stay shooting in F Standard .
I will be no longer shooting ftr if this rediculous rule comes in .
Hard enough finding 155s / 155.5s at moment . Hence why i shoot heavier stuff in FTR.

Fully agree with limiting to 156g. FS is dying and being able to shoot FTR would save many of us the expense of going FO, which would leave many like me with giving the sport away.

Maybe we need a new" classification: "F-ark" or something.
"Terminal "gamesmanship" is a good way to drive away potential and EXISTING participants.
How about a "gamer" class:
"F unlimited".
Any rig, any "fruit". MINIMUM rifle (w- accessories and sight) weight 13Kg, and as an added twist, the match starts with the firer and ALL their gear, one Kilometer from the firing mound. Get all of your stuff to the mound, inside a graduated (by age and grade) time period with two minutes, per the "referee's stop-watch) to "set up" before firing.
Or swap out the "run" for a 5Km cross country ride on a club-owned mountain bike, (also with all your gear), in the spirit of the old UK "Muddy Fox' service rifle shoots.
If the idea is to preserve and expand what is left of the shooting "sports", then "biggest spender wins" is somewhat counterproductive.
This is why the remains of "Service / military" rifle shooting in Australia usually runs two clearly defined divisions in matches:
"As Issued", (literally, what it means) and "Modified / Open". Same event, same scoring, two "streams". (and, if you are lucky), "trophies".
