Kestros ZR Alloy Extension
Has anyone made Alloy extension rails (copy) like the Kestros ZR and fitted to a stock? If you have please let me know as I have a stock that is ok except it's about 3" short for my liking.

Re: Kestros ZR Alloy Extension
I have something similar I made to fit on a Boyd varmint stock to give it a bit of extra length. The offset was an attempt to get the barrel centreline closer to the bag in the front rest. The side rails are 50x10 flat bar and the base plate 75x10 flat. The stock sits into the gap and is used the two screws go through where the sling mounts were.
I don't shot F-Open in comps but this little rifle is a 6.5x47 and at club shoots it is a lot of fun.
Pics are not real good. Just took them with this tablet but should give you some ideas.

Nice work and a very neat job , the offset is something I'm after as the barrel centreline is high. I probably would go for the stock inlet on the sides as my stock is an F-class stock. Thank you for posting your pics.

Peter, Yes looks nice, thanks for posting the pics. Did you inlet the rails into the stock? Also they are not on Blakes site.

No it's not my work, found it on Dima's Facebook page, just a really good example of what can be done

Re: Kestros ZR Alloy Extension
The problem is the stock isn't solid in the front on the standard Kestros stock.i
