F Class Nationals and VRA Queens Bendigo
I was wondering if anyone had heard if the NRAA/VRA or the Victorian government were going to enforce any covid restrictions for the Nationals and the queens ie double vaccinations etc? I know all of this stuff is fairly fluid, but other bigger associations and clubs (AFL, Cricket etc) have mandated such and I was wondering if this is something on the horizon for our sport. I am not trying to open debate on the rights and wrongs of this, just if this is something teams need to consider before the event.

Barossa_222, This is something I'm sure the VRA will post closer to the event. But,
as at 8/11/2021 double Vax is required for socialising but not required to compete. This from an old email for our DRA Teams weekend in November 2021.
Things could change a lot before the Queens and teams week. Please contact the VRA directly for more info.
Dear Members,
A meeting with Department of Sport & Rec was held this afternoon regarding the latest Covid restrictions.
The implications for this weekend are that we will have to install Covid Marshalls at the gate with unvaccinated shooters not permitted to attend the AGM or camp or come to the range prior to Saturday.
Unfortunately there is still some uncertainty regarding meetings held in regards to community sport and also the set up/pack up of events.
Therefore if you are unvaccinated you may only attend the Range on Saturday for the day and then come back for Sundays competition.
At this point due to the inability of SRV to confirm otherwise, we believe that the community sport vaccination exemption is only relevant for the actual playing of sport, not for meetings, socialising or setting up/packing up the event.
We apologise for the late notice of these restrictions, however we were hoping for more clarity from SRV at todays meeting.
If you are unvaccinated and would like to discuss how this will affect you please do not hesitate to contact me at the office.

Shaun,
The VRA will not mandate any such requirements without those being required by the State Government in order to hold the event. The guidelines that Geoff provided above are still in effect and as we get closer to the event, we will provide further correspondence.
Happy to discuss further if you have any concerns.
