Lead up Day 1:
I woke up this morning with no unusual features apparent
The weather looks good with no rain and some gentle breezes around 15kph
Good luck all

2x 500 complete
There’s plenty of flags which is a good thing accept they all point in different directions
Some smarty pants world cham ,who will remain nameless, shot a 60:9
Adrian shot 8 Xs in a row
Just about to go for lunch

Re: Vic Queen’s 2021
Day 1 results:
FStd A Craig Weaire
FStd B Jeff Makin
FTR Gerry Thomas
FOpen John Peters
Weather was great, conditions were tricky with tail winds, as the scores showed.
All round a good day was had.

Re: Vic Queen’s 2021
Day 2 of the lead up:
Another lovely day with slightly less breeze - indicating easier conditions- WRONG
I thought Canberra was difficult...
There’s always tomorrow
A chance to improve or Be walloped
700 and 900 done
Lunchtime now with 1000 to go

Re: Vic Queen’s 2021
Day 2 lead up complete:
And the winners are
FStd A - Craig Weaire
FStd B - Jeff Makin
F Open - Rod Davies - again
FTR - Darren Bradley
John Peters was leading open till the last 2 ranges and fell foul of the Range washing machine.
Gerry Thomas had the misfortune of many FTR shooters -putting a great shot on the wrong target, not to worry he took it all in his stride and still placed 3rd.
Darren Bradley also had 8 supers on the rest of the field- he must have a good gunsmith
Now all the mistakes have been made we can tackle the Queen’s with a great deal of confidence!
Good luck all for tomorrow.
