WTB Moly powder

Does anyone know where in Sydney or surrounds where i can buy 1 or 2 kg's of moly powder? Or if someone has some for sale that they dont use anymore,

I did see that for sale, but not much product info. Im after super fine grade. I dont know if industrial grade is super fine.

Have you read what Frank from Bartlein Barrels said about moly coating back in 2015? viewtopic.php?t=7067

Thanks Aussie for both links. I respect Frank and what he has to say, but my experience is different to his. I get very little if any copper fouling and haven't noticed any pitting in my barrels. I don't shoot in competitions and thoroughly clean my barrels after each days shooting and inspect the barrel with my Hawkeye and found no detrimental effects so far. I heard of some gunsmith/shooters on this forum that do use it, but most people dont use it probably because of the mess it makes and they have not found any benifit from using it. Each to their own. Thanks again for the links.

Not sure how you apply moly, but in my experience 2oz will do MANY 1000s of bullets.

hey mate excuse my ignorance, but if you arent shooting competitively and you thoroughly clean your rifles why the need to moly coat and not just shoot jacketed projectiles?

I still think it slows down fouling and gives longer amount of shots and some what easier cleaning
also in the barrels I use find less fire cracking
just my thoughts
Has any one had a barrel damaged with mos2 or moly ?

To prevent carbon issues, moly leaves a boundary layer which wipes away taking the carbon with it, personally I think lowering start pressure reduces "firecracking" which I believe is merely surface cracks from pressure expansion past the yield point locally, purely opinion though, take it for what it cost's.
