200 Jacks

Just interested in comments from anyone who has the 200 Jacks going well?
I'm half way through development with them but summer heat and mirage has forced me to stop.
I've got them to run anywhere between 2680-2740fps and found some low SD numbers.
The difference from most I guess is I'm running a 9T barrel and chamber is cut for the jacks. It will also shoot 185 Juggs it seems but not tried them yet. Anyone?

Any advice from the regulars who use them?

Maybe no one has them going well.... or maybe keeping info a little secret? I'm sure that they (Jacks) don't like being jammed in my gun, yet to finish development due to weather. But they look promising.

Rebel105, I do not use the Jacks, but see the link below, the prep work part 1 and 2 for the worlds is worth a read:

yep read that blog... I'm using the Williada method of development, now to do the free flight tests so hoping it comes together. I'm using a 9T barrel which I'm told isn't a regular barrel for FTR, but with a short bearing surface with the jacks I'm hopeful it will work.

Richie,
Michael Hall imports them direct to QRA store. Nil stock for a couple of months now. Michael tells me more coming in soon.

Rebel - I'm going to try them with a Hardy 9tw and a reamer to suit. I'll be bringing them into NZ tho. Swap notes later on maybe?
The FPS they tune in look pretty similar to other 200s. The guys I've spoken to in the US and Canada playing with them speak highly of them.

I’m following this thread as I am developing a load with the 200.20x but don’t many of them...so if the Jacks look good I might swap. I have a 10T Maddco.

I think .008”- .012” was the bullet jump, not the freebore

KP Ballistics: Recommended freebore is .100 in., my chamber is around .120 in. and I would say it is the max I would suggest.

the suggestion also is that they prefer much greater jump than say a Hybrid - the talk appears to be around .030 - .040
Use vld stems for seaters
FPS - they seem to be tuning in around similar speeds to 200.20x - i.e low 2600 - high 2600 - low 2700
I don't have specific experience yet as mine are still about a month away.

Are they much better than anything else out there for the extra cost?
