$150 plus the cost of ammo ,might be cheaper to take up smoking !!!!!! but I would rather shoot than die of lung cancer

If you love what you do you don't take cost into the equation.
Over the past 15 years I could not add up the tens of $1000's I've spent on target shooting and don't care to either.
Just to put your $150 into perspective I have recently spent $800 on entry fees to the Canadian Nationals & FCWC.

Not sure why the entry fees of this particular Queens are being questioned. Its in the ball park with the others.

What is interesting is how many ranges do you shoot for the price of entry. WARA 2017 8 ranges for $160. Whats the number on your side of the country Alan ?

Well the VRA was $165 for 8 ranges. Looking at NSWRA in that way, its quite reasonable, 9 ranges including one of 15 shots for $150 (plus range user fee $15). No Queens is cheap, but they all seem to be about the same. I personally don't look at entry fees as an obstacle, its more about travel costs and time. Local shooters who don't travel probably have a different perspective.

QRA is $110 for 10 ranges, or $160 if you want to try for the cash prizes as well as trophies.

Well done to the NSWRA on setting F Class to shoot on manual targets.

This should remove any derogatory comments about "inaccurate ET's, as well as machine gunning" =D>

If ACT does this too, then I'll pressure work to allow me a couple of days off so I can attend in November.

Unfortunately I can't get time off for NSWRA this year due to the Canada trip.

Good morning,

I've heard that TR are going to be using Kongsberg and also SMT. Can anyone shed any light on this please?

Regards,

Hi Phil
The usual misinformation, TR will ALL be Kongsberg and FC will be on paper, NO Silver Mountain ET's will be in use.

My thoughts exactly. I would love to be able to get to my local Queens on proper F class targets but cant get time off. If Canberra would do the same as they usually do (F class on manuals, TR on ETs) I would go to that one.

Scores are on the NRAA website.

http://www.nraa.com.au/nswra-141st-open ... w-results/

Matches 3 and 4 were replaced by match 32 for TR only - 15 shot match. F Class shot the matches 3 and 4. So a little creative accounting with the scores - separate daily aggregate for TR (match 34) and F Class (match 5).

Rick Ashton doing a great job with the scores and the NRAA system. He has certainly challenged me today for tech support today!

Enjoy the shoot guys.
