600yd Benchrest Targets

Hi all

Now that the 600yd Benchrest is back up and running I have been in discussion with the printer who used to print our old 600yd targets here in Oz many moons ago to see what the new targets would cost so a comparison could be made to bringing them in from the US. As with any of these things the more you order the cheaper they are per target.

At this stage depending on numbers they will range in price from $0.88 up to $1.25 each. That price is for them printed on a heavy paper / card like the original targets and includes freight to Townsville from the print shop. The printer has advised that they could drop ship to other locations from the print shop rather than them being onforwarded from Townsville which means that price is effectively the price of the target landed at your site.

I think narromine landed their first 100 targets from the US for a bit over $3 each so the price is very good if you want some of these targets.

As such I am trying to find out how many other clubs would be interested in ordering some of these targets. For anyone interested please let me know how many you want by Friday 12 May so I can sort out the first order and get it under way.

we will take another 100.

this will certainly avoid the $200 freight charges from the USA.

Things have progressed a little faster than expected and we will be able to order the targets from tomorrow. I have a number of people who have contacted me about getting these targets however if you would like to order some please let me know ASAP as the first order will be place tomorrow.

The new Australian printed 600yd targets arrived in Townsville today.

Not sure if they arrived with the others that ordered them too though below is a picture beside one of the US targets.

We are researching the options of shooting this event at Bundaberg. We will need to make some benches that are portable and heavy enough for the needs of the shooters.

I would really like to discuss how I can get my hands on some of the targets themselves.

Look forward to hearing some more about the competitions and how everyone is going with it.
