G'day All
The trans Tasman test starts today, the kiwis have been here for around a week already and with the torrential rain we had yesterday it must feel like home.
The weather report looks good for the rest of the week [-o<
We all got together for a BBQ last night and were entertained by Don and his pyrotechnic cooking show, good thing the club house didn't go up!
A great time was had by all and it looks like the kiwis are ready to rumble with a few days of practice already.
Today we do a practice at 800,900 and 1000yds followed by our first match of 20 shots at 1000.
Tomorrow we have 3-15 shot matches at 800,900 and 1000yds

Tim have you told the Kiwi's that you will be shooting underarm on the last day of the test.

Viewed a few mates shooting @ Natives PM over the weekend in real time on Hex. Not quite as good as being there but still pretty good. Results on the NRA website were very up to date. I guess we are now back to manual marking for the week so no real time viewing for me.

Good luck to both teams FTR and Open.

Looks like good weather for ducks, so it might be opportune to have a shot gun handy to gather tonight's dinner.

ENJOY!

Well done to our F-Open team. Great effort.
Unlucky FTR team. One X the difference and congratulations to the NZ FTR team.

I couldn't find my gear I left on the mound, I'm hoping the kiwis don't have it or it will possibly go up in smoke like Rod's chair last year :?

The test has finished and the Aussies won both the open and FTR
Didn't even have to shoot under arm!
Conditions were very trying again (for the coaches), thanks again to Steve Lazerus and Mark Fairburn for their coaching of the teams
The kiwis were in for the fight and I'm sure they will be back next time more determined than ever to win both disciplines.
Will try and get some pics up.
