Those stocks look great and well designed. It will be good to see this up and going.

Hi

Have used one previously in a R700 6.5 Creedmoor. Wasn't great for me at the time as the throat was wearing out. I also have a few of the hunting variants and they are super comfortable.

I also got a few others to try out too a Hybrid for a FTR build off a R700 - should have ready to go within a month. Waiting on Cerakote. Also just got one of the new F Open types - Kelbly X Eater ineltted for a Panda - hoping to use a for a 300 WSM. It is not longer in the front end than the F Open model with the butt configuration the same.

My understanding is that they will inlet for your rifle on request in Finland for the type of stock you want.

Overall I find them to be a quality product pretty finished and ready for dropping in the action with some bedding and pillars.

Once I get them sorted I'll post some photos.

Good with the build.

Cheers Andrew

Just a brass pic showing R to L, 6x47 unfired formed from 6.5 x 47 , 308w for scale, and my current 7mm SAUM on the left (just starting to give good results but a bit overkill for most ranges) That saum round has been shortened a bit to try in a magazine, the actual loads i shoot are a bit longer...

PS sorry Sam I already have my dies ...

Here is the finished rifle its only fired 6 shots but the last 3 were x's :)
I will give it a better run today , not sure if i will use it in the queens or the saum ...

Looks like its very accurate, shot a possible with a light load then when i upped it a bit it started laying x's on top of each other. Needed a couple of shots to settle down after cleaning so ill run it dirty for a few stages and see what it does

I am going to run it without the cheekpiece for the moment as it gets in the way, then we are going to trim it a bit and ill fit my higher nightforce rings. I dont miss it much , its probably better to not use any cheek pressure anyways.

This is one of the early groups :)

They have tightened up more now that I have only 0.001" neck tension, but I dont have another electronic group to show you ....

You will get imbedded carbon if you don't clean properly in the barrel's early life!!!! You would be familiar with that I imagine. During the first 200 rounds,i t is critical that you clean correctly during this "seasoning" period or you can ruin the barrel. If you must "experiment" with fouled barrels again, my advice is to leave it until you have fired 100 to 200 rounds.

Yes Keith you are right, that was an older comment of mine but the results above and a recent 60.10 were all with a barrel cleaned after every shoot. The first shot is half an x ring low and then it shoots flat... flatter now than this group above , i think because i have recently reduced the neck tension to .001" (from about 004 because i did not have the right collet.) The projectiles are still very secure in the cases, and I am not using an annealer at this stage.
