Share a pic of your f/tr rig and give us some specs on your parts list.
I think there are a few people waiting in the wings to have a go at f/tr but aren't quite sure what direction the head with parts to keep under the 8.25kg.

My standard FTR rig has nothing light on it:
Eliseo Tube stock
CG INCH action
Nightforce NXS Scope
Davies FTR Bipod - 1.1kg
currently running a border medium palma barrel
weight: 7.99kgs
I have also built a new rifle on a Barnard P
It will be:
Gunstockz stock
http://www.gunstockz.com/
Barnard P action
Leupold scope when released but currently a Sightron s3
SEB Joypod bipod
currently running a border medium palma barrel
Weight: 7kgs

Thanks Linda! Its good to see that you can still make weight even when the eliseo tube stocks aren't super light.
Do you have a full profile shot of the stock on your new Barnard? I've been thinking a stock that still has slight taper at the butt would help when making quick vertical adjustments and wouldn't effect tracking too much.

This is the FTR rifle that we have been working on for my son.Picked up the Barrel from our smithy a 30 inch Madco number 6 profile. And have just received the Bipods today. It is 8.1 Kg as it is with the 700 gm Bipod.Or Dolphin have another Bipod that looks the same but it is 550gm

The New Dolphin Bipod is 550 gm so if we need to we can shave of another 150 gm.But as it turns out we scrape in.
