Hello from Campbell Town. Teams are over, and Davis leadup has begun . Conditions tricky at times but nothing like yesterday. A good number of shooters have stayed after the teams. Not all are shooting the leadup.

Back tomorrow night after the Davis (800, 900yd) and Tassie 1000 are finished.

Great to see you made it over Alan. Enjoy the conditions, and see you all on Saturday.

Looks like the last couple of ranges were testing.

Go the Vic's.

interesting numbers.
62 fclass shooters vs 23 shooting tr.
17 open shooters vs 18 tra grade.
how will will badge nos balance out for the last stat?
how will these numbers look in 10 years time?
not long ago there was talk of doing away with open, so things have changed there.
international competition is obviously helping fclass.
keep safe,
bruce.

All today's results are now on the NRAA website :

Conditions were warmer but similar to yesterday in difficulty terms. Jim Blomfield is going gang-busters with his 223. If he can continue this form into the longs it'll be a great achievement. Rod Mahon is showing his experience at this range in F/TR. In F-Open Cameron won a close-fought shoot-off with Phil Bonaventura for the daily agg. The top third of the F-Open field are within 1 or 2 points, with some pretty handy shooters not far back - here's hoping we have a good number of us in contention at the end of tomorrow.

Back tomorrow night.

looks like mahny got 1 more point in the ftr agg than the open winner.
we might all need to reappraise bipods!
more fopen shooters than a graders. please keep us in touch with the badge distribution.
it would appear that open in now on the forward momentum that it deserves.
I heard today that the sara queens used to attract 300 shooters, and now 170 is a good number. in the halcyon days it was all tr.
we all need to work on membership and promote our sport as a product, and we could see an upturn generally.
keep safe,
bruce.

Holy pistols, its a great competition !!
I make it Mark Fairbairn 3 pts clear on 473-64
Then Alan Fraser on 470-31
Cameron McEwan 468-35
Julie McEwan 467-38
Michael Waites 465-69
Grant Groves 465-28
John Smith 464-35
Dave Stewart 464-27
Dennis Shallis 463-34
Phillip Bonaventura 463-27 to round out the top 10

Could that be 6 Queenslanders in the Top 10 !!! \:D/ =D> \:D/
How is anyone expected to be able to work tomorrow while the 24 fight it out at Campbell Town over 900 and 1000 yds ??
NB : Anyone from NQRA is DEFINITELY a Queenslander where we get down to serious rivalry :D

Hello again from Tassie.

The wind got up again today, but of course we had to endure once again hearing about how bad it was in the Teams. Its a wonder the flag poles are still standing... :D

Thanks for the list Tony. Here's a fuller one compiled from the NRAA website .

I'll try to get back ASAP after the 1000 tomorrow with the winners.

And of course congrats to the winners. In F-Open Mark Fairbairn was awesome, especially today at 900 and 1000.
