Hello,

Am trying to adjust an Omark trigger, has two adjustment screws, one at the front and one at the rear, which is which ( sear engagement and pressure ) ?.

Screw at rear is sear engagement
top screw at front is trigger pressure, and,
bottom screw at front is length of trigger pull ( this screw was missing, hence my confusion ).

Hi Josh, I was going to reply to you. Hunted high and low for an old article on adjusting the omark trigger but bugger if I could find it.

Hi Josh,
The bottom screw at front is overtravel stop. ie how far the finger piece travels after release.
Actually you can reverse the overtravel and spring --it will work just as well and give you more control over pressure.
Ideally replace the spring with a lighter one to reduce let off pressure as the original omark triggers were designed for pressures of 1.5 kg and you would probably have trouble getting it down to 1kg or less.

Thanks, I am interested in the spring you are talking about.

Today I replaced the firing pin spring, it was 12mm shorter than the new one, ultrasonic'd the trigger and set the trigger using a 1.060kg weight,,,,,,, did you know a led dolphin torch weighs 1.060kg ?.

Would appreciate more info on the spring reversal.

Oh, the good old days when Bic made an excellent trigger spring for an Omark with their retractable pen & for a Remmy trigger, their cigarette lighter.
