Looks like a good shoot. I've gotta get back into again here in WA. But we only shoot to 400m until the range is extended.

It was certainly very civilized, shooting under cover on a hot and windy day, being able to leave your gear on the bench while waiting for your relay. They were a good friendly bunch and the shoot was well organised. It felt good to be able to check out a few dozen F Open type rifles and chat about all the things we chat about in F Class. I encourage all F Classes to have a go at a fly shoot and while you are there, spread the word to the fly shooters to get them to have a go at F Class as well.

Well done Rod, you've done everything you can do in F Class now you can move on to benchrest and give the rest of us a chance to win ONE Queens.''''

No, seriously a great effort amongst that lot, we'll have a beer or two in Canberra to celebrate.

Rod

Did you have your own wind flags or did you just look at everyone else's?

I bought some wind flags at this event, but due to not having extra long flag poles (needed at Batemans Bay due to the topography) , I watched others flags mainly. I will be getting some long flag pole extensions from a camping store before the next flyshoot.
