You Tube video Matt Paroz in Malabar wind

Post by ecomeat »

Just for Bruce over there in SA.
Sorry this bloody thing freezes on me about halfway, and it is only taken with a small camera that has video mode, but it will give you an idea of the conditions. It shows Matt scoring 59-5 at 600 metres on Saturday, shooting in winds that were gusting from 4-5mph to 25 mph and back to 5-6 mph then back to 24mph, all in the blink of an eye.
I guess this will be like Lower Light on a really easy day ? We need to know what to expect over there.

Extreme accuracy and precision shooting at long range can be a very addictive pastime.

I can vouch for the speed changes. I took my wind meter out when we first got to the mound and could not see much difference in the flags when my wind meter was going up and down in numbers.
