serious new match

Post by bruce moulds »

on july 21 at lower light there will be held an interesting comp.
timmy and bigdog have come up with a pairs match at 900 mt.
each pair will fire 50 to count bisley style, 1st on paper = first sighter, 2 sighters each.
entry fees will go to buy raffle tickets in aid of raton.
quite a brilliant concept.
the big money is currently on the moulds/willment team. our form is that currently we have never been beaten in such a match.
keep safe,

Bruce, remember to load your rounds progressively longer to keep up with the throat erosion.
Cheers

Paul,

Won't that give him an advantage - closer to the target=easier?

definitely no environment for big hammers.
the favourites (moulds/willment) will be using 284s so no problem.
don't forget it is bisley style, and only 25 to count per shooter.
get 2 xs for sighters and that saves barrel life further.
keep safe,
bruce.

Bruce don't let your catholic taste get mixed up with what Mikey should do with the "blow" tube.

Hi bruce you might like to find out who actualy came up with the match,

It is supposed to be shot at 1200 yards and without sighters the name of the match is the Wild Bill Pairs match that might give you some insight into who actualy came up with the match and it will be shot correctly this Sunday

Cheers Bill

bill,
does it matter?
the important thing is that it is to raise funds in the form of entry fees buying tickets for the raton raffle.
keep safe,

paul,
I think ssrs will apply, but check with timmy or bigdog.
any chance of you getting down to the match?
there would be someone you could pair up with.
keep safe,
bruce.
