National F Class Teams C'ships 2014 Tassie

Post by John E »

CALLING ALL VIC FSTD SHOOTERS:
I'm looking for 1 coach, 5 shooters and 1 emergency ( who will get a shot ) to compete in this event, to be held at Campbelltown from the 3rd to the 5th of March 2014.
Nominations close with the VRA at the end of this month, and all nominees will be able to participate in the practise shoots, which will provide invaluable experience even if they don't make the final team.
The Teams event will be immediately followed by the Tassie Queens series, so there will be plenty of shooting to be done.
I'm looking forward to receiving your nominations a.s.a.p.

Thanks

John

Well, come on all you Victorian FSTD shooters who keep telling me that we have so many FS shooters that we should be able to field a top team --- what about putting your hands up --- don't leave it to everyone else. Get your nominations in. The ball is in your court.

Come on F standard shooters, I have put my hand up as a shooter, we need others, plus a really good wind coach. F standard B grade, dont be put off, with a good coach, you can put in good scores and also learn along the way.

Would be a pity if the F Open crowd put in a team and we dont.

Cheers

Amazing how things can change in 24 hours. I believe that we now have sufficient very good nominations to make the bare number of shooters, but we still want more, so, as Danny said, don't be shy.
We still need nominations for a wind coach and a manager/adjutant.

You mightn't want to discuss secret Victorian business in an open forum but I'm wondering if you've got a plan for the practice programme yet.

Short answer is not yet, Barry, except that we will combine the FS practices with the FO practices. After noms close at the end of this month, all nominees will be notified of the first practice date.
