St Arnaud PM

Post by Barry Davies »

This weekend saw the return to St Arnaud the #2 DRA prize meeting.
This is the first PM to be held at St Arnaud in over 17 years.
Once a highly successful PM which attracted well in excess of 100 shooters for many years, but due to declining club numbers it went into recess some 17 years ago.
Stalwarts of the #2 DRA decided to give it another go following failed meetings at Bendigo.
Their efforts were rewarded with a first up 69 entries made up of 35 F class and 34 TR.
A revamped St Arnaud club with assistance from other clubs within #2 DRA put on a " good as you will see anywhere" PM and hopefully cemented the future of this meeting at the St Arnaud range.
Shooting was over the ranges of 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 & 900
Some results.

Cold wind

Post by bartman007 »

Great to see F Open numbers are on the up and up!

Did I read right, are there actually more competitors in F Class than TR

Wayne and Cheryle certainly led the way only dropping 5 points over 6 ranges. A brilliant effort.

Well done Jenny in F Std, with a close finish.

Who's that in F Std B? Hey Barry.S, I think you may be shooting in A next time out :-)

Sounds like it was a great weekend for shooting. Looks like I'll have to put away the tools at home, and get out and do some more shooting!

Being my debut in F Std I entered according to the dictates of the SSRs (which I had no part in writing). I'd certainly hope to be in A in future.
