To all FO shooters in the Sydney basin,

The MDRA has offered FO at this event for the first time in many years, I would encourage any FO shooter within a reasonable distance of Malabar to go.

Some years ago the MDRA invited FO to shoot at the Festival of Sydney, put on Medals, badges etc and only three of us showed up. I would suggest if that happens again we won't get a third chance.

Thanks Graham,

Will be good to catch up with all you southern boys.

Nowra is a good distance from Malabar, certainly not metro. Great to see
you guys making the effort.

Could even be a better turn out that last Sydney Queens.

I hear that Ben Ferrara got all 60s except for one range when he got a 57 is bad conditions. Sounds like the bar is being raised.
There was a TR shooter who got 3 50.10s in a row.
Does anyone have a link to results?

There was weather coming in from the sea on sunday and if the wind was picking up it was difficult to crank on enough to keep the shot in , you would have to keep winding, but then it would stabilise and you could get a good string, as many did. In F std the results were a bit better than pre-berger but still a level playing field.

I have not seen a link for the results yet.

I heard Jim Bailey shot the 3 50.10's on the last day! WOW what a shooter! And apparently his son shot 150/150 on the last day as well!

The MDRA website (it's their comp) has top 3 scores from Saturday, and a quick update from Sunday re Jim Bailey. Nothing re Sunday or overall agg scores though.
