Directions

Hi
I fly into Mackay on friday can anyone give me directions to the rifle range from the airport ??

Matt, when you arrive in Mackay, jump in a taxi and head North for approx 1400km, turn left at the first fork in the road, travel over the log bridge, Right turn onto gravel road for 12km....should be close.

Yep Matt North is your best bet
Keep an eye out for the mexicans things could get tricky for them once they cross the murray they don't go out much

Hi Matt,
it is really easy from the airport.
Basically follow Milton St in towards city and turn left onto Archibald st (Still on airport grounds - controltower on right and sargent 4wd rental on left) then cross the main (Bruce) highway at lights and head west along Peak downs Highay (70). Keep going for a while. This goes through Walkerston then bends south. A few little bends later (5 or 6 k past Walkerston) and you will see a turn to the right on to Wollingford rd (I believe there is a rifle club sign on this corner) and just under 3 km along Wollingford rd take a left - you will see it on the right
