Just had a batch from the green box of 100 and found up to 9tho diff in base to ogive, the shorter ones were also about 1g to 2g lighter, it was about a fifty fifty mix , maybe off two machines, these are not seconds, ?? I have not always checked but will from here on, I wonder what the seconds are like, regardless ,after batching I had good results, Chop, hope to see you in ACT.

I tried a box of seconds - 25 thou difference and a fair bit in weight too. Sorted by both (ended up with 15 batches) and they shot OK but not great. Gave up and went back to normal grade.

The quality of sierra's in Aust has always been questionable
I use them for running in barrels.

Chop -the 105's and 108's both run well in my BR and have never had a batch that didn't shoot. The 108's in particular are a beautifully made bullet - very accurate and consistent.
Cheers
