I've fired a few stages, so far they seem to be just like the old Sierra, easy to tune, not seating depth sensitive unlike the HBC and in my barrels group tighter and more consistant than HBC just like the old Sierra.
The extra cost is hard to take only because we're getting ripped off by someone (importer is my guess) even so I'll continue to use them rather than go through the frustration I've had with the HBC.

The new SMK 155 is a ripoff to be sure. I spend as long as it takes to make the HBC work, as I wont use the SMK.

With a bit of tuning, the HBC will shoot alongside the SMK and then some in my opinion. The HBC has a slightly higher BC.

Other than that, using the SMK is just un-Australian. I hope that Bob and Jan one day make a 224 along the same lines as the HBC.

Hi Chopper
I will try some 2156 at Bendigo on the week end I understand you will be there?
As for Woody he might want to disclose what percentage of Rifle parts and other shooting gear he sells is imported?

David, despite having only 4 posts in this forum, I can say we try to maintain a maximum AU presence in AU as much as possible, We work worldwide, so unless you understand how this works, better to leave it to those that do.
