NIF requirement for existing Ros

The NSWRA's latest Newsletter reports its request to NRAA to remove the need for Club level Range Officers to complete the National Integrity Framework course (NIF), in other words Grandfathering Club RO's who have probably conducted club shoots with 'integrity' for many years. I suspect this request is an attempt to stop existing ROs from letting their accreditation lapse rather than jump through another hoop.
Is anyone aware of any response from NRAA on this?

Your STA should have informed you of the new requirements.
Club level existing RO's can sign up and watch a video. Contact your STA

I understand the requirements. I was referring to NSWRA's approach to NRAA to exempt current ROs from having to take the test.

here have been important updates from the NRAA regarding the mandatory completion of
the National Integrity Framework (NIF) course by Range Officers. The note the below points:
1. For Club-Level Range Officers only, you can now complete the NIF by watching
the Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) video alternative using this
link:
Upon completing the video, your name will be provided to NRAA by Sport Integrity
Australia (SIA). Please make sure you have registered your details as requested
using the following for the Sport and Role fields:
* Role: RO
* Sport: NRAA
Please note: After the 15 August 2025, the video link will expire. The NRAA will
advise WARA of your completion of the course.
2. For Competition and State-Level Range Officers: Complete the on-line course on
the SIA website.
Courses available click here and scroll down to the National Integrity Framework
course.
You will need to register on the SIA website click here, and create a My Learning
account, to complete the NIF Course. Once completed, download the
certificate and forward it to admin@wara.asn.au.
The deadline for completion has been extended to 15 August 2025.
