Hi Everyone.

Just a heads up!
A few months ago, up here in FNQ, a few of us were approached to test the next generation Barnard trigger from Sixteen South. They're about to be released, so I don't have to keep a lid on it anymore.

These are a drop in fit and the manufacturer wanted some real-world testing and feedback before release. Those of you who know Sixteen South, will likely have seen or used there modified Bix and Andy drop in fit triggers. Acquiring the Barnard version of the Bix donor became very difficult, at one stage buying out the world's supply and they dried up, which prompted the development of the Next Gen. I unfortunately missed out on a Bix, and so was eager to try the latest option from Sixteen South.
The manufacturer has designed this trigger specifically for F Class and Benchrest and will drop straight into an existing Barnard stock inletted for the original Barnard trigger.
The unit I've been testing breaks like glass, is light and a joy to shoot. It is actually the lightest and crispest trigger I have ever used! I loved it that much I purchased it so I didn't have to give it back.
Apparently, a batch will be arriving at a QLD retailer and a NSW armorer soon. If previous demand for quality triggers is anything to go by, they will move pretty fast.

Cheers,
Steve

Hi Everyone,
In response to Steve's comments and experience with the new 16 South trigger.
I also was approached to test the new product in the field.
I was stunned by it's performance. I have used a modified Bix & Andy drop in for my barnard action.
Modified by the same person that designed the new 16 South trigger. This new 16 South product,is a drop in fit & is the crispest trigger I've experienced so far. It provides the most positive feedback to my trigger finger I've experienced . No hang at all . I have given it several series of very vigourous cycle tests and it will not slam fire.I cannot bang on enough about this trigger. In my opinion it's a step up from my modified Bix & Andy. They will sell fast and I believe it's a single run.Contact Craig McGowan and Matt Paroz ,who will be the retailers.
If you're into Fclass or benchrest This trigger is well worth having. I too am refusing to surrender my test 16 South trigger.
Cheers Tony FNQ.
