Recently I needed to have two rifle telescopes serviced by a reputable manufacturer for a couple of reasons.
I wasn't expecting to know if there was anything of concern as I really don't have a grasp on the internal workings of 'scopes with large elevation movements and parallax adjustments, that's the manufacturer's domain.
After contacting the manufacturer I was surprised by the suggestion to store the rifle telescopes horizontal and not on the rifle standing up in a vertical position. Is this the preferred method of storage?
