Any Experience with Bertram .284W brass?

Post by CamoWhamo »

Has anyone used Bertram brass in .284W.

Just wondering how it rates in terms of consistency and durability.

Thanks

Yes I bought 200. Batched some and they were great. No primer pocket failures they were a lot thicker than Lap brass so loads were less. I didn’t find any accuracy difference between Lap and Bertram.

I have bertram 6.5prc brass. Its tough. The weights vary alot but i am not sure that matters for sporter hunter. After all the cracks in my nosler brass its alot better. I also bought some lapua.. primer pockets are really tight, but they look good too

Hi, I have a couple of hundred which have been fireformed to 284 Shehane. Still tight pockets after 6 reloads and very consistent.

I have used Bertram .284 brass when I couldn't acquire Lapua or Norma. Weighed them, neck trimmed and sorted them and had no problems at all.
