Re: For Sale Bat “MST” Magnum action
BAT MODEL MST
BAT's model MST started as a model M action, they then moved the bolt stop forward and shortened the load port. This is perhaps the best option for many cartridge’s used in 1000 yard matches such as the short Magnum cases.
Improvements over a standard model B include:
More bolt lug surface area, creating a stronger action.
Larger barrel tenon for more support around Magnum cases.
More bedding surface
More action screws (3) 1/4-28 and (1) 10-32
More support in the rear bridge making the bolt cycle smoother.
FEATURES
8.500” long and 1.4 Octagon with Integral 20 MOA picatinny rail and Integral recoil lug.
One piece bolt, with coned bolt head
Adjustable trigger hanger (0-30 included)
Weight is 43.8 oz
Load port length is 3.0 inches. 2.2" eject port (if dual port)
Action screws are included
Barrel tenon is 1.125 x 16 tpi.

Re: For Sale Bat “MST” Magnum action
This would be a very very nice action. I have an M and it's very slick and handles pressure extremely well.
This MST seems to be what they used to call the MB. Now has the same tennon as the M which provides more steel around magnum chamberings and extra support for long heavy barrels.
Someone is going to get a nice action for a build. Good luck with the sale.
