Hi all,

I am looking for a pair of Remington 700 Action Screws, I have a surgeon 591 in an HS Precision stock and the ones I have do not have enough thread engagement in the action.

Please msg me on here if you have any or know where I can buy some

Thank you,

Tom.

Should be 1/4" UNF thread. Do you have a fastener supplier near you?

I'll need to check tomorrow, but I think I have a pair of high quality stainless screws that I bought from the US but have not used. They are overlength ready to be cut to size.

Standard hex head socket on the end.

I have been told there’s a place in brookvale otherwise I have ordered some UNF bolts online in the past for other things, worth a look there.

@locks,
Best fastener supplier in Aus with free post;

Easy way is to buy 1 1/4 longs and cut to length.
Usually appx 0.75" and 1.00" plus 5-20thou (depending on stock and whether you're using Nord-Lock washers).

Note bulk rates means it's usually better to buy more(10), keep some spares and give some to mates.
