Hi everyone
Hope your all well.
I have a question hopefully I don't spend too stupid for asking.
I have recently brought a seb rear bag for my rifle but am not
sure what filler to put in it.
I was going to use sand but then read something about blasting
Grit being used and thought I'd ask everyone.

What filler are you using in your rear bag and why?

Cheers everyone.

This may answer your questions as to the best sand : https://www.ozfclass.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5901&hilit=density#p49175

Why make your rear bag heavier? To prevent the bag from moving after each shot (usually due to torque recoil).

If you want your bag to be heavy and are not worried about cost go for steel shot sandblasting media, extremely heavy but costs about $60 to $70 for a 25 kg bag. Much heavier than the normal sandblasting media you buy from bunnings or supercheap.

I have the seb Bigfoot and used blast grit from super cheap autos, bag sits solid and rifle tracks well i don't feel using a heavier fill would've been an advantage...

It is an advantage for FTR shooters to have a heavy rear bag if they use a plate on the but as a stop point, as I do and many other FTR shooters.
