new Tikka T3 firing pin spring?

Post by Plasmaboy_au »

I have an old faithful Tikka T3 that's about 15 - 16 years old. The firing pin spring is getting a bit soft. And ideas where I can get a new one? I tried a Google search for firing pin springs + Australia, lots of trigger springs found but nothing for the firing pin.

Thanks, Andrew

Page 7 of this only shows the firing pin complete assembly.

Use the part number and contact the Importer.

Failing that a B709 and import your own.

Try:

Don’t know if a B709 is needed for a spring?

If you’re after a Gunworks NZ heavier spring, I think I have a spare here in Sydney. Note though they significantly increase the bolt lift if you’re okay with that.

I saw Lumleys has a firing pin spring kit, on emailing them, they have a person / business in Australia that stocks their equipment. When the kit arrives *waiting on stock* Ill update the post with details

Firing pin springs came in from Lumley today .. standard and a +10% spring, collet and several retaining clips.. two sets were just under $60 AUD
If you need any, you can email tom@lumleyarms.com *located in Australia so no headaches of needing import permits for a spring :)
