Hi all

I'm gradually progressing most of my target and hunting rifles across to picatinny rails and rings. I'm running good quality rings on the target rifles but finding it pretty hard to justify $250+ for some of the other hunting rifles.

Has anyone found a reasonably priced alternatives? Something between a $20 eBay special an $300 NF?

I've used Dolphin rings and they perform faultlessly.......they have a good reputation for their stocks.

I just purchased a set of the porter machine works rings. They’re manufactured in Australia and appear to be as good as any out there. They’re not quite as light as the nightforce ultralights but for a hunting rifle I doubt you’ll notice the difference. Cheapest place I found was through 3 Gun tactical in Qld.

For a hunting rifle, weaver grand slam rings work very nicely.

Burris Zee rings are another good option.
For heavy Duty LR hunting I particularly like the Burris XTR rings.
