Ungarie bisley 30 March

Post by Tim N »

Hi All,
This is my first shoot for the year and hopefully with my FTR rifle.
Who else is going?
Bisley is a challenge to shoot and great fun also!
Be great to see a good turnout.
Cheers

What is it with me and shooting

If you need rain just put on a comp near you and I’ll bring it.

Tomorrow is supposed to be ok with winds of only 37kph
I’m looking forward to shooting bisley again, this time it will be with my FTR rig which I haven’t spent enough time on to say it’s sorted but the weekend was free and I thought why not.
Hopefully there’s a few starters.

I’ll be there on Sunday, was there this previous weekend and it was dry as a chip!! Nice to see some rain.

Going to give the newly developed load in the 300WSM a run.

Tim, the local farmers will like you if you keep on bringing the rain. Anytime I’ve been to Ungarie, it has been needing rain.

Saturday morning 6:30 and the rain has stopped which is great but the current cyclone is a concern.
If it doesn’t stop I’ll be checking out the highlights of Ungarie, I hope one day will be enough to cover that activity.

Was pretty windy last weekend too Tim.

But it wasn’t too bad to read, set in.

You should have it almost full value from the right today

We are able to shoot today :D
A small contingent of brave or foolhardy shooters- not sure which

Gusting to 24kph at the moment should be great fun

First range done
800 yds ...
I’m learning how to shoot FTR , I say that because the score confirms this.
15 shots for 74 which would be great in Canada, not so great here.
My definition of fun now needs adjusting.
We are shooting 2x 900s this afternoon due to conditions
More fun to come
