Dear all,

Please see below press release, issued to mainstream media this morning. The NRAA board is optimistic that the shooting success in New Zealand will be the platform on which greater awareness of our sport, clubs and facilities can be built. I ask that if your club or S&T have a social media account or website, that you assist in spreading the word by publishing the press release on those platforms.

The greatness of our success will only be measured by the depth of our contributions.

I was in a couple of those Palma teams many many years ago and we failed miserably. 1988 was the last time Australia won a Palma. When you look at the number of successes in NZ in both team and individual results, it really is remarkable. The Captain, Darren Enslin and the team he gathered around him are to be congratulated on remarkable results. When you add in the F Class results at the last World Championships in Canada, Australian results are the best they have been for a long long time.
Lets hope the NRAA really make an effort to publicize this as widely as they can. Great!!
Cheers
