Australia Day Weekend Belmont QLD, Juniors 2019
Posted: Tue Jan 29, 2019 12:09 pm
The Event was held in hot blustery humid conditions that made it challenging for most, however outstanding performances were had.
Day one shooting was held at 500,600and 600 day two 1000,900,900. I found the event to be very well run and on hexs electronic targets that mostly behaved.
QLD shooter Josh Reid won F open with a score of 343.20( based on hexs website) and an amazing f standard score was shot by Andrew McKillop of 343.19 just one x less and shot with three long rangers, just proves that chasing BC with bigger and faster does not always work.
Best of all shooting was done in the SHADE beautiful and comforting SHADE organisers went to some effort to put up market style tents and should be commended, a great complimentary dinner was supplied on Saturday night The Belmont QLD venue with large motel room accommodation, large tavern ,and shooting supply store on site must make this the number one shooting venue in Australia
