yes marty has nailed the formula.
284 in a 2 lug action.
6 br has filmed it so there is the proof.
and shooting that queens at lower light a few years ago clinched the deal.
keep safe,
bruce.

Looks like Alan was kickin' it yesterday (day 2) and Marty put in another solid performance. David McNamara isn't far off the pace either in F-Open.

Daryl had a solid 2nd day in F-T/R and Jason backed up his 1st day result. Both seem to be well positioned for the 3rd day.

Must be getting close to a few PB's throughout the team?

Hello all,

I arrived back at the motel about 3pm our time completely zonked and made the mistake of lying down for a minute or two - just woke up at 6:30  . I believe everyone else is the same way.

Today has been a great TEAM effort on the range. Everyone, including family members, non-team Aussie shooter Lewis Reynolds, and all shooting/ non-shooting team members worked together, and consequently, we appear to be right up there. The F-Open team is a few points in the lead, and in F/TR we are reportedly not too far back in 3rd place (amongst a large number of teams). We have an opportunity tonight to get some much needed rest, and tomorrow, it'll be on for young and old. We really appreciate the encouragement from home. Thank you.

My Day 2 Agg win is undoubtedly the biggest achievement of my F-Class career. I've always said this would be my only shot at the FCWC, and at least for one day, I was champion of the world. 8) I can tell you that even without any success we may have in the teams, we have established ourselves as a very strong force in F-Class. It says a lot for the standard of competition we have in Australia.

But its time to stop gloating, and get ready for the final assault tomorrow - another 60 rounds to load, then hopefully an early night, and good sleep :) .

I'll get back to you ASAP after the results are know.

Alan

Hats off to you and all of the shooters for a marvelous work you are doing representing this fine country. Individual results like Marty and yourself and Dave really prove the point that we are a force to be reckoned with. To all the other shooters, managers, support staff and the captains and coaches you are all doing a terrific job.

Good luck with the final assault, and may your bullets fly true.

Anyone seen the team results, they're very slow getting the results up but looks like we have a 3 point lead in Open.

Alan, yourself and the whole team can be proud that you have shot so well. You have shown the world just what we can do and I'm sure that in future years you will be able to do it time and time again. I look forward to meeting you all at tassie next year. I will be the young bloke hanging on every word :)

To all the Aussie shooters who have put in the time and effort to represent our country, well done. Watching the scores from the individual events and now the teams it shows that you are all dedicated and capable of matching it with the best in the world. It would be magnificent to see you take out the win and upset the Yanks on their home turf so keep up the good shooting and give them heaps. If it doesn't happen they'll certainly know you've given your all and if you do kick their arse then they'll never forget the Aussies and 2013. Good luck and lets hope you finish on top.
Regards Malcolm.

Beautifully put, Malcolm.
I reckon you have expressed the thoughts and sentiments of all Aussie shooters still here "at home" but watching on with great interest, just perfectly.

the new world order!
6 br stated that the aust performance was surprising on the first day.
no one here was surprised.
we must be the first to beat the yanks on their home ground.
I think we used a fair few 284s. the yanks used the magnum.if true, is there a message here?
keep safe,
bruce.
p.s. all we have to do now is repeat it next time.
