A great couple of days of competition and good to see so many teams taking part. The weather was fairly sedate for Lower Light due to the time of year but it showed a little of what can happen on the second day at 900. The wind strength was there but it didn't have the big across centre changes that happen later in the year when our championships used to be held. The huge lack of flies was also very pleasant compared to later in the year. As usual with the F class clan everyone got on well and it was great to catch up with the characters in the game that I have come to know over the years. The range was well prepared and quite green instead of dry and dusty as it gets later in the year, the marking was up to it's normal excellent standard and the catering over the teams event (which sometimes misses out) was just as good as the Queens. For those that used the new accommodation units they would have to agree that staying on the range is the way to go. As an added bonus the interstate teams generally weren't burdened with having to cart those heavy trophy boxes back over the border and look after them until the next event. Hope to catch you all in Sydney. Regards Malcolm.

bartman007. The S.A. F standard team is a very close team. What happens at Lower Light stays at Lower Light. Regards Malcolm.
