More SH Class Questions

Introduced in 2019, this class is defined in Chapter 23 of the SSRs. It offers shooters with factory sporting rifles the opportunity of participating at NRAA ranges alongside TR and F-Class.

Don’t do anything about a scope yet, mil scopes work fine, and I have an Athlon that dials very precisely
I see you are scoring on a Shotmarker, it is easy to go into the settings on the device you are using and change the grid to mils, it displays as a 0.2 mil grid
Your tikka should feed fine without a sled, mine do

What cal is yours? Unless I'm doing something wrong mine absolutely refuses to single feed ha.

And yeah the scope is just a potential to keep in mind thing at this stage.

I have or have had in the past just about every caliber they make, the only one that needs a sled is 223

I ordered a bag from Tacti-Sac. I had a chat with the manager and he helped me find the right bag so that's on it's way so that I can get used to it next time I shoot.

Which mag do you use? The single stack or a double stack?
I've made sleds for both of mine. They're just 3d printed but they work. Post a pic of your mag.

It's a single stack magazine, standard Tikka 5 round magazine.

With that, what filament did you print your 3D print your sled with? Was it a public blueprint or did you put it together yourself? I have access to a 3D printer so I could just print one.

Bang for buck - Vortex Strike Eagle ($1500 - VRA shop has for $1,250)
Just put one on my 300 and a fair chunk of PRS guys are running these... very clear glass lifetime replacement warranty and easy to deal with

Nightforce - Expensive, but deals can be found (won't find much under $1k)

Sightron - found them comparable to nightforce and a little more "cost effective"

Leupold - very nice, oooh yeah very nice.. larger $$ but have a repair centre/workshop in aus and provide fantastic back up support
Why are you reading this? My post has concluded....

Thanks, I'll scope out these options so that I already have my sights set on one when it's time to elevate my glass quality.
