http://www.nraa.com.au/nswra-141st-open ... w-results/Matches 3 and 4 were replaced by match 32 for TR only - 15 shot match. F Class shot the matches 3 and 4. So a little creative accounting with the scores - separate daily aggregate for TR (match 34) and F Class (match 5).
Rick Ashton doing a great job with the scores and the NRAA system. He has certainly challenged me today for tech support today!
Enjoy the shoot guys.

Going by the scores, the conditions must have been shocking. Is everyone still too shell shocked from the conditions to write in here? Is that why TR didn't shoot all ranges?

No TR suffered from ET issues. Konsbergs didnt like the wind.
Conditions were shocking. Wind coming over either side of your shoulder with gust of upto 40km. And at times shots not corresponding to the condition. A four left but flags and mirage running left to right.......
More wind tomorrow so expect scores to get worse especially at the longs.

Yep, the scores tell a story. Bugger 40km/hr winds, brings back memories of Tasmania.
I might have to bring some Scotch next year, otherwise I might need some therapy at the bar.
Enjoy the competition. Stay dry.

Mike the scores certainly tell the story.
There were dozens of flights cancelled at Sydney airport today because of extreme wind.
"A bad day at the range is better than a good day at work", I don't think so today.
Anyone who is familiar with Malabar from the south this is tough in 20kmh plenty of points can be dropped.
40kmh is a slaughter, very changeable in direction from that side.
Well done Jacko, bit different to Fly shooting !

No the program continued as normal. So today was 300, and the two 600s. Despite the wind at the 600 there were some reasonable scores. In f std wind appeared to vary between 4.5 to 5.5 moa to the right. It was all good fun and shooters accepted it as it was. I am not sure of wind tomorrow for 500 and 700. Today was a great day to learn some wind skills.

If the online scores are right, it looks like Anthony Bending (Jacko) has won his first Queens, taking out F Open after a lot of years of success in Fly and 1000yd BR competition.. I would say Jacko would be even more animated than usual right now???
In f/tr, Garry Faulkner has added yet another F/tr Queens badge to his collection. It looks like shooting 308s runs in the family genes with his father John Faulkner taking out Fstd.
In TR, Stuart Collinsgs will be taking another Queens Prize win home to NZ.

Congratulations to all the Class winners, especially the Faulkner father and son duo.
It is Gary Faulkner's third FTR Queens in a row, very well done Gary, it just goes to show that the result in Canada was no fluke!
Cheers

Wrong again. He's been voted a Queenslander. He just lives in New Zealand.
