A big thank you to the Mareeba club & to all that helped & to the volunteers. I am glad I made the effort to go up there ( although the wife probably doesn't right at this point in time , she is at work at moment after getting about 3 hours sleep ).
An incredibly welcoming & friendly club with some great shooters, and some fairly tricky changes that the flags don't always tell the truth about.
Steve L was was on fire & couldn't seem to put a foot wrong. He gave me some advice after a dismal second string that seemed to worked, and I managed to scrape in for a second overall in FTR , so I was on a high for most of the 10 hour or so drive home.
And thanks Josh for making me feel welcome & introducing me to a lot of the locals, I will now be a regular for your prize shoots, although if you could make it not so bloody hot next time , I thought my skin was going to melt yesterday.
