I hope the SARA website is updated tonight. Don't hold your breath with the NRAA one though. They seem to have abandoned that idea part way through the Hunt.
Wonder who the "they" you refer to are. Things are changing on the NRAA website but currently don't bear much relation to reality. My guess, and it's only that, is that SARA is attempting to upload the results but, with nobody in the NRAA office, SNAFUs can't be corrected.
See what's there tomorrow morning.

I was referring to the stats people at SARA. Because they are already producing stats for local printout and web publication, they probably wouldn't see any urgency in the NRAA entry, which I understand can be quite time consuming. That's something that could be left till next week. The priority for SARA will be the local printouts, particularly for the presentations.

Day 2 results are up at both SARA and NRAA. The Queens progressive scores are at the bottom of this page :
http://www.nraa.com.au/south-australia-queens-results/ In F-Open Geoff Krake had the best day at the longs, but Graham Mincham did well again so is looking good for his first Queens win. Conditions were pretty much as expected, starting with light wind over the left shoulder, then swinging around to a headwind later, which was somewhat stronger than forecast. With rough weather expected tomorrow, luck could play a part, although if it gets too rough, they will cancel uncompleted ranges. The current plan is to start with 600m, then do 300m weather permitting.
Back tomorrow night.

Looks like some great shooting. Better hold on to your hats for tomorrow, forecast of 40-60km hr wind. At least you will get to use those wind arms for what they were intended for!
Good to see Graham and Geoff giving the regulars a work out. Considering the conditions tomorrow, my money is on Richard, however it could be wide open depending on the conditions you get to shoot in.
Go the Vic's!

Once again, no results from SARA yet. I cleared out immediately after the presentations and didn't take a photo of the results

.
Anyway, in F-Open, Richard Braund got up on the last day, quite comfortably in the end. Well done that man

. He was trailing Graham Mincham by about 3 overnight, But Graham had a 56 to Richard's 60 at 600m, then a 54 to Richard's 59 at 300m. Poor Graham ended up out of the badges. I didn't see his shoots but there were a few short periods of strong wind and he may have been caught in a couple of those. Here's what I remember the F-Open scores to be :
Richard Braund 465, Mark Tyler 462, Stuart Braund 461. There were 3 badges for 12 shooters, which was reasonable. However they gave out 20 A Grade badges to only 24 shooters

.Sort of cheapens the concept of a Queens badge I think.
In F-Std A, Terry Gee from Vic prevailed, and Jim Freebairn in F-Std B. Mike Willment eased off a bit today - wasn't in the medals for the daily agg, but still enough to win F/TR comfortably from Rod Mahon. This is his 2nd Savage Rifle win in a row!
BTW Steve Negus won A Grade, and put quite a few $ on the bar, which was a nice gesture.
I've just dropped in to a little town called Keith. Will press on and check back in here tomorrow night.

Thanx for your reports from the coal face Alan whether it’s at SARA Queens or anywhere else around Australia I always enjoy your commentary Cheers
Not the easiest of shoots for me and others I guess Skill required most of the time and at others your best endeavours elude you.
Alan you are always my yard stick and unfortunately didn’t get as much luck as I did.
Graham shot very consistently throughout except today.
As he was squadded just after me on the next target I guess his luck ran out I managed a good score at 600m for the first range of the day and managed to be 1 point ahead I knew that may put some pressure on him going into the last, it was still anyone’s match.
I remember last year I crash at the first 300 with a 51 in similar conditions while everybody around me were getting 58s 59s
I think the 300m today was grahams worst range of the week that’s the way it goes sometimes at LL it’s not called the house of pain for nothing.
Commiserations to Graham he has really got that 6.5 going.
Mark Tyler is becoming a force to be reckoned with and I know Stew, Brandan, Krakey and Alan are all very capable marksmen you just need to stumble and they will run right over you.
It was great to see 2 new ppl to the FO ranks in SA J. Parker and D. Dolphin from the west coast I’m sure the will come away from the event having a lot more experience for their next foray.
My congratulation also to T. Gee and Marcus.
M. Benjamin also is relatively new to the FS ranks and at his first Queens event he didn’t go home empty handed well done.
And last but not least my 2 traveling mates from the USA Micky and Rod a solid effort boys
3rd place in FTR went to the G-Train (Brian G) a CTV club mate hang in there Brian you will knock Micky of his perch eventually

Cheers
RB
BTW the scores not being posted probably had something to do with the power blackout about 1 hour before the ceremony was conducted without lights not a good look when the governor turned up as the VIP to the presentation not much we could do about it probably a tree blown over on a power line some where.

Congratulations to all. Sounds like it was 'interesting' to say the least.
I had thought there was some possibility I would have made the shoot. Maybe next year !
What is the new date ?
