Come on now Danny S. I reckon I know why some Tasmanians have been very successful at scope shooting.
One head looking through the scope, checking mirage, the other one watching the flags.

The one f open shooter in Tassie is going to need more than 2 heads as he will be capt coach and 5 shooters in one. will be an extraordinary team , beware the man with one gun etc.

Some of these remarks could be in breach of the "statial" discrimination act...

They say that South Australian's are proof that Tasmainian's can swim.
Going by the large number of F-Open shooters in S.A. and the lack of F-Open shooters in Tassie, most of the Tassie team must have swum over some years ago.

They also say that it raised the average IQ in both States...

norm and alan,
that is a rumour, but untrue.
Tasmania and nsw were colonized by convicts, and their outlooks reflect this.
south aust was colonized by free men who were civilized, educated, and religiously inclined.
escapees from nsw and tazzie made their way to vic, it being the nearest place to go, and uncolonized at the time.
rumour has it that the odd kiwi swam over to vic as well, but we had better not go there!
keep safe,
bruce.

Gents

In the interest of sportsmanship across Australia I have taken a holiday to tassie with the family to provide recon on the range. This photo was taken today by me and as you can see the snow is pretty crazy coming in sideways. It's my suggestion that all states run a drop or two of car antifreeze in your loaded ammo to prevent bullets from freezing as they exit the muzzle.

Will the NQRA boy's poach him from the SARA team?

Only time will tell. But March 2014 is approaching very quickly :-)

No not at all he is still a member of SARA
And one of the original 2012 FO national champion team members
Lets face it WHY would he want to shoot for any other team?

If he was obliged to shoot for his current club's S&T Association, I'm not sure which one it would be. Barcaldine is in Central Queensland according to the QRA website. NQRA website is down so can't check there.

I think the crux of the matter is that States who feel they're a bit light on for shooting talent will go to any lengths to steal from others.
