Had major problems with Hornady. Lyman was better. Imperial to hard to wipe off. Now using Froglube liquid, its better all round IMHO.

lanoline and castor oil mixed makes the best case lube ever.
it is probably the basis of many of the commercial lubes.
keep safe,
bruce.

I use spray on canola oil, and wash it off later with hot water & detergent

Never had any problems ....

Aubrey I did frog lube my resizing die thinking I wouldn’t need to lube my cases.
didn’t work I will try your suggestion
I’m trying FL on all sorts of things the one thing it does do is slick up my stolle fantastically last about 5 weeks between applications with out any oily residue that would collect dust.

Hi Shaun
Never had a problem in forty years using anhydrous lanolin as a case lube and I have done some seriously radical case forming operations in that time. Just go to your friendly chemist and get a small jar . Originally it was labelled as 'anhydrous lanolin' and that small pot lasted at least 20 years, the next one which is almost empty now was just labelled lanolin I think, the printing has long ago faded. It used to be ridiculously cheap and lasts forever and in the last couple of decades we've found out that it is actually good for your skin as well, even if you live in California.
Regards Malcolm.
